शिक्षा- बी0एस-सी0(गणित),एम0ए0(अँग्रेजी साहित्य),बी.एड.

1984 के आसपास लिखना शुरू किया। आरंभ में बच्चों और किशोरों के लिए लेखन। 

कृतियाँ-

सत्तर से भी अधिक कहानियाँ देश की विभिन्न प्रतिष्ठित पत्र-पत्रिकाओं में प्रकाशित। अब तक चार कहानी संग्रह प्रकाशित-‘लक्ष्य तथा अन्य कहानियाँ’(1993),‘बाजार में रामधन’(2004) तथा ‘पीले कागज की उजली इबारत’(2008) ,प्रकोप तथा अन्य कहानियाँ (2015),’जादू टूटता है’(2019 )

कुछ कहानियाँ विभिन्न संग्रहों में चयनित।कहानियाँ गुजराती,पंजाबी,मराठी,बांग्ला तथा अँग्रेजी में अनूदित। संग्रह ‘बाजार में रामधन’ मराठी में अनुदित।

एक उपन्यास -‘लौटना नहीं है’ 

सम-सामयिक घटनाओं तथा सिनेमा पर भी जब-तब लेखन। 

कहानियों पर रविशंकर विश्वविद्यालय रायपुर से पी.एच.डी.हेतु शोध-प्रबंध।समग्र कहानियों पर जे.एन.यू. नई दिल्ली से तथा देवी अहिल्या विश्वविद्यालय इंदौर से कहानी संग्रह ‘बाजार में रामधन’ तथा उपन्यास ‘लौटना नहीं है’ पर लघुशोध प्रबंध। 

पुरस्कार- कहानी ‘कुकरा-कथा’ को पत्रिका ‘कहानियाँ मासिक चयन’(संपादक-सत्येन कुमार) द्वारा 1987 का सर्वश्रेष्ठ युवा लेखन पुरस्कार।

      कहानी संग्रह ‘लक्ष्य तथा अन्य कहानियाँ’ को जनवादी लेखक संघ इंदौर द्वारा प्रथम श्याम व्यास पुरस्कार। 

      दैनिक भास्कर द्वारा आयोजित कथा प्रतियोगिता ‘रचना पर्व’(2002) में कहानी ‘एक गाँव फूलझर’ को   तृतीय पुरस्कार।

    संग्रह‘पीले कागज की उजली इबारत’ के लिए 2010 में प्रेमचंद स्मृति कथा सम्मान।

    वर्ष 2014 में वनमाली  कथा सम्मान,  गायत्री कथा सम्मान 2016

 ‘‘सर,क्या मैं अंदर आ सकता हूँ ?’’ 

 प्रिंसिपल ने स्कूल के फंड से पैसे बैंक जाकर निकलवाने के लिए मुझे अपने कक्ष में बुलवाया था।प्राचार्य चेक साइन कर चुके थे।तभी कमरे का परदा जरा-सा हटाकर भीतर आने की इजाजत चाहता वह खड़ा था।

   प्राचार्य ने इशारे से उसे आने की अनुमति  दी।वह भीतर आ गया, आभर में केवल मुस्कुराते ही नहीं,  हाथ जोड़े हुए।

उसके पास बेचने के लिए कुछ भी नहीं बचा था। बदन पर एक खस्ताहाल कमीज़ और पैंट थी और पैरों में टूटी चप्पल। जाहिर है, इसमें से कोई भी चीज़ बिक नहीं सकती थी।

   शहर अपने पूरे विस्तार और गहमागहमी के साथ पसरा हुआ था। अगर शहर कुछ दबा-सिकुड़ा-सा होता तो संभव है कि उसकी भूख भी कुछ सिकुड़ जाती, लेकिन एकदम दूर दूर तक फैले महानगर में उसकी भूख भी फैलकर चौड़ी हो गई थी, जैसे उसके अनेक मुहाने खुल गए हों। इससे पार पाने के सिर्फ दो ही विकल्प उसके पास थे। भीख और चोरी। भीख मांगने की कलात्मक बारीकी उसे नहीं आती थी।

उसको आरम्भ और अंत के खाँचों में नहीं बाँटा जा सकता था।  वह जिस पल शुरू हुआ, उसी पल ख़त्म हो गया। उसने तेज़ी से झपट्टा मारा, पंजों में शिकार कसा और उतनी ही तेज़ी से चला गया। उसी के साथ मिट गया सब कुछ। क्षण भर के लिए नहीं, अनंत काल के लिए। जीवन की गति, उद्दाम चाहनाएँ, छोटी इच्छाएँ, सहज सुख, गहरे दुःख और उनका स्वामित्व रखते मनुष्य सब विलीन हो गए थे।

Abstract—Cinematic images have emerged as a potential tool capable of creating and shaping the culture of a nation. They are able to design the real and replace the so-called physical-real, effectively.  In post-postmodern era, digitally coded-third order of simulation is dominant over the other forms of communication. Virtually constructed reality (VCR) defines and controls the social relationships, individual behavior and economic dynamics of a country. Japanese anime, a popular term for animation cinema, is quite vast and has a rich history of production, distribution and viewing. These anime represent the complex codes of Japanese culture. In doing so, they have reshaped the present cultural perception. These computer-generated elements, in Japanese anime, have attained an entity of cultural phenomenon in itself. These elements-imagery, music, storyline, movements, dialogues and designs-are carefully choosen and incorporated by the film makers for powerful representation and dissemination of existing socio-cultural ethos. Paramountcy of digi-culture is an important characteristic of post-postmodernism. These are the key issues raised and addressed in this study. A qualitative socio-psychological research methodology has been adopted to elucidate these questions.

1. Introduction

YOUR Name (2016) is a popular animation film of director/animator Makoto Shinkai. Makoto has several blockbuster films to his credit. His most acclaimed films are, 5 Centimeters Per Second (2007), Garden of Words (2013) and Voices of a Distant Star (2002). Advanced digital techniques have brought multifold change in creative art, particularly in animation cinema. Animations, unlike India, are more popular among all age groups of Japanese society and despite their super-natural, hyper-real themes carry ‘serious’ messages and depict social issues and individual desires. The master craftsman in the area is, surely, Hayao Miyazaki, an Academy Award winner of 2003 for his film Spirited Away. Makoto Shinkai is regarded as a successor of Miyazaki and has gained respect among film-critiques all over the world, particularly after the release of Your Name. Makoto himself likes Miyazaki’s film, Castle in the Sky (1986), the most. This film is his source of inspiration.

D.P. Tripathi was an intellectual, thinker and a politician of India; respected across the party lines. He was well versed with several languages of India and English. A dreamer to build new India he began publishing ‘Think India’ and ‘Vichar Nyas’ and proposed vision for sustainable development. With his sharp and rich memory he became a wonderful orator. He also acted as a catalyst to bridge the political gaps between India-Pakistan and initiated several cultural processes between these two societies. Prof. Anupam got many opportunites to meet and discuss with him personally. In this article he has compiled his interactions with DPT and portrayed his wonder personality by citing a few events from the life of Devi Prasad Tripathi.

डी.पी.टी. याने देवी प्रसाद त्रिपाठी एक अदभुत और विलक्षण बुध्दिजीवी। एक ऐसी बेमिसाल शख्सियत जिनका हिंदी, अंग्रेजी, संस्कृत, उर्दू और बांग्ला जैसी भाषाओं पर असाधारण अधिकार था। उनके संभाषण की शैली ऐसी थी जो किसी को भी मोह सकती थी। स्मृति का जैसा अक्षय कोष उनके पास था, वह अन्यत्र दुर्लभ है। यह अद्भुत स्मृति कोष जैसे उन्हें किसी वरदान में मिला था। उनकी मेधा इतनी अपूर्व और विलक्षण थी कि सैकड़ों अंग्रेजी, हिंदी, उर्दू, संस्कृत किताबों के पृष्ठ शब्दशः उन्हें याद रहते थे।

This Second issue of Globalculturz

consists scholarly articles from India and abroad. It was a challenging time for all of us and the global community due to corona virus-Covid-19 pandemic. Economies were shaken across the nations. Loss of innocent human lives, worldwide, compelled us to review about our lifestyles, living and the ways of interacting with each other. Despite all this it has been great endeavor to publish original research and creative work in English and Hindi languages. Gradually, the articles in Japanese language too will gain momentum and appear here to complete the linguistic diversity of the Journal. The efficient editorial team deserves sincere thanks to carry out its duty in the time of pandemic. Our peer-reviewers, silently, contributed a lot to bring out this issue in real shape. The editorial team is to grateful towards them.  More fields of academic enquiry will be added in the forthcoming issues.

In this issue

several research papers have been incorporated about disability and cinema. Readers’ feedback were requested upon that to improve and enrich the ideas and to enlighten the contributors. Many of our valuable readers suggested to compile these articles in a separate binding to ease the academic world to obtain a deeper knowledge of this sensitive issue.. The editorial team has taken a good note of this suggestion and very soon take a decision to publish these papers in a digital or ebook form. If deemed fit, other potential contributors will be identified.  Their scholarly papers will be included, edited and published under different book title. 

Creative writings and research pieces on memoirs, gender discourse and literary criticism are also here to widen our understanding of the society, its cultural history and polity.

We are in process of improving the digital delivery of researches published in the Journal. More sharing options will be opened soon for the sake of effective and impactful reach to the readers.

Summary in English

Disability is portrayed in several Bollywood and foreign movies. Dr. Lomesh has identified a few them for her empirical study. My left foot, Rust and Bone, Turtles can fly, sea inside, The Brooke Elpis Story and The Intouchabl are discussed at length in this paper. She has analyzed these film, parallel to Bollywood movies for the sake clarity and wider insight. How the social psyche and individual mindset have changed due to the impact of these movies are the key issues raised in this reasearch article.

                                             

दिव्यांग होना अभिशाप नहीं. जीवन यात्रा जो समान्य लोगों के लिए सहज प्रवाह है वही शारीरिक अक्षमताओं से युक्त दिव्यांग लोगों के लिए ऐसा पीड़ादायक अनुभव है जो अनेक कष्टों और चुनौतियों से भरपूर हैं.सामान्यतः इसका अहसास वे लोग नहीं कर पाते हैं जो अपने निकट जीवन में इससे न जुड़े हों . स्वयं को मुख्यधारा में न ला पाने की बेबसी, समाज से मिलने वाली उपेक्षा, सरकारी सहायता का अभाव और सगे-संबंधियों/पारिवारिक उदासीनता के चलते दिव्यांग होना उनकी प्रतिभा शक्ति को क्षीण करने में अग्रसार रहता है. प्रतिभा जन्मजात होती है .शारीरिक अक्षमताएँ, दुर्बलताएँ ,प्रबल इच्छा शक्ति और दृढ़ विश्वास के आगे नतमस्तक हो जाती हैं – मानव जाति के इतिहास से आज तक, हम जब चाहें इसके साक्ष्य उपलब्ध करा सकते हैं.
